Goes on COVID-19 list
The Vikings placed Kendricks on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.
Kendricks was one of five Vikings to head to the list Monday, with three starters on the offensive line (tackles Christian Darrisaw and Brian O'Neill and left guard Ezra Cleveland) and reserve defensive back Camryn Bynum joining him. The star linebacker is coming off a nine-tackle outing in Sunday's loss to the Packers, bringing his total up for 143 through 15 games. Due to the timing of his placement on the list, Kendricks will have a chance to be cleared ahead of this weekend's regular-season finale against the Bears as soon as he's asymptomatic or able to test negative on two occasions at least 24 hours apart.
