Designated for return
The Titans have designated Jones (hamstring) to return from IR, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Jones' 21-day window for evaluation will begin as a result of this transaction. The veteran wideout hasn't suited up since Week 9 due to a lingering hamstring injury, but the Titans now can bring him back to the active roster to retake the field as early as Sunday's upcoming matchup against the Jaguars. With A.J. Brown (chest) on IR through at least Week 15 versus Pittsburgh, a return from Jones would provide a substantial boost for Ryan Tannehill and Tennessee's offense.
