In stable condition after scary hit

Cannon, who left Sunday's game in an ambulance after taking a knee to the head on the opening kickoff, "is in stable condition and will stay the night at the hospital," according to the 49ers' official Twitter account.

The inadvertent shot Cannon took to his head certainly looked scary, but fortunately he appears to have avoided a serious injury.
