Effective in spot start
Michel ran for 121 yards and one touchdown on 24 carries and caught three passes for eight yards on four targets against Jacksonville on Sunday.
Darrell Henderson (thigh) sat out, leaving just Michel and undrafted rookie Mekhi Sargent (two carries for five yards) to suit up at running back for the Rams. The Jaguars unsurprisingly stood no chance in this game, and Michel was one of the main beneficiaries as he saw his usage spike upward against the vulnerable defense. That elevated usage was dependent on Henderson's absence, though, so if Henderson can play against Arizona in Week 14 then Michel will likely return to an abbreviated bench role.
