John Ross, WR (NYG)

Cleared for Week 13

Ross (illness/quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Ross only managed one limited practice this week while tending to the quad injury in addition to an illness, but he demonstrated enough progress over the past couple of days to avoid the inactive list. With fellow wideouts Kadarius Toney (quad/oblique) and Sterling Shepard (quad) both sidelined, Ross will likely share No. 3 receiver duties alongside starters Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton. While both Toney and Shepard were sidelined in last week's 13-7 win over the Eagles, Ross played 10 snaps (17 percent) and finished with two receptions for 28 yards on two targets.
