Headed for game-time decision
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Hopkins (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with Chicago, Dana Scott of The Arizona Republic reports.
Kingsbury seemed to downplay Hopkins' absence from the media-access portion of Friday's practice, saying the Cardinals wanted to be "smart" with their handling of the injury. Kingsbury also acknowledged some element of not wanting the opponent to know, especially when dealing with crucial players like Hopkins and QB Kyler Murray, who also is being treated as a game-time decision (with an ankle injury). There seems to be less concern over Murray than Hopkins, but both figure to be listed as questionable on the final injury report leading up to a 1:00 ET kickoff this Sunday.
