Sitting out again Thursday
Kamara (knee) is listed as inactive Thursday against the Cowboys.
When Kamara was able to receive limited listings on all three Week 13 injury reports, there was a glimmer of hope that he'd be able to see his first game action since Week 9. However, following a report from Ian Rapoport and Jane Slater of NFL Network early Thursday, Kamara was considered unlikely to suit up. Kamara thus will yield the Saints backfield to Mark Ingram, who is back after missing one contest due to swelling in his knee. With Tony Jones a healthy scratch, wide receiver Ty Montgomery, fullback Adam Prentice and special teamer Dwayne Washington are available for any RB reps that don't go to Ingram.
