Antonio Brown, WR (FA)

Receives three-game suspension

Brown (ankle) has been suspended three games without pay for violating the joint NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 protocols, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Per an NFL release, Brown and two other players "misrepresented their vaccination stats under the NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 Protocols." He'll thus sit out the next three games and won't be eligible to play again until Sunday, Dec. 26 at Carolina. Brown already had missed the Bucs' last five contests due to an ankle injury and was poised to miss more time, so he may be able to complete his recovery while he's away from the team.
