Deebo Samuel, WR (SF)

No practice Wednesday

Samuel (groin) didn't practice Wednesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

With a 1-to-2-game absence imminent due to a groin strain, Samuel likely will log DNPs all week before the 49ers rule him out for Sunday's contest at Seattle. In his absence, the 49ers will rely on Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, Trent Sherfield and Travis Benjamin at wide receiver, while River Cracraft and Connor Wedington are candidates to be elevated from the practice squad for game day.
