Banged up after Week 12 loss

Beckham underwent scans on his back after Sunday's 36-28 loss to the Packers, but the receiver is still dealing with a deep contusion that is causing pain and stiffness, Josina Anderson of USA Today reports.

Beckham appeared to hurt his back in the fourth quarter after reeling in a 54-yard touchdown. The big play accounted for most of Beckham's production on the day, as he finished his second game as a member of the Rams with five receptions for 81 yards on 10 targets. Beckham also played 98 percent of the offensive snaps in the contest, a sign that the Rams are comfortable with his grasp of the playbook after he was on the field for only 28 percent of the snaps in his team debut Week 10 in San Francisco. At this stage, the back issue doesn't seem to be anything that truly threatens his availability for the Rams' Week 13 game against the Jaguars, though he could have his practice reps managed as a result.
