Jordan Howard, RB (PHI)

Idle for another practice

Howard (knee) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni already noted earlier this week that he doesn't expect Howard to play Sunday against the Giants, so the running back's second straight absence from practice comes as little surprise. Expect the Eagles to formally rule Howard out for Week 12 following Friday's session. With Howard out of the picture this weekend, Miles Sanders and Boston Scott could both be in store for slight upticks in carries, while rookie Kenneth Gainwell will likely dress as the No. 3 back after being a healthy inactive for last week's win over the Saints.
