Alvin Kamara, RB (NO)

Won't return Thursday

Kamara (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Bills.

This news isn't a total shock after Kamara was unable to step foot on the practice field Monday through Wednesday due to his MCL sprain. He'll thus miss a third consecutive contest, potentially handing over starting duties to Mark Ingram yet again. However, Ingram sandwiched two limited listings around a DNP on Tuesday's practice report due to a knee issue of his own, leaving him questionable for Thursday. If Ingram is unable to give it a go, Tony Jones is next up on the depth chart, with Dwayne Washington and wide receiver Ty Montgomery in reserve as options out of the Saints backfield.
