Jordan Howard, RB (PHI)

No practice, as expected

Howard (knee) didn't participate in Wednesday's walkthrough session.

Coach Nick Sirianni said Monday that Howard is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Giants. The veteran back took on a sizable role the past month and continued to see carries even with Miles Sanders back from IR last week, but then Howard had the misfortune of suffering a knee injury that will cost him at least one game and possibly more. Sanders and Boston Scott split snaps after Howard's early exit from the Week 11 win over New Orleans, while rookie Kenneth Gainwell was a healthy scratch for the first time in his career.
