Kareem Hunt, RB (CLE)

Plans to play Sunday

Hunt (calf) expects to return from injured reserve and play in Sunday's game against the Ravens, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. "Yeah, [I'll] see how I feel during the week, but I'm definitely thinking I'm going to play," Hunt said Wednesday.

Hunt was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, opening a 21-day window for the Browns to place him back on the active roster. He took the field for the Browns' first Week 12 practice, as expected, setting the stage for his first appearance since mid-October. The Browns haven't committed to Sunday's game as the target return date for Hunt, but the running back made his plans clear. Once Hunt is available, D'Ernest Johnson may be without a role on offense, despite doing solid work when both Hunt and Nick Chubb have missed games this season.
