Maxx Williams, TE (ARI)

Recovering from surgery

Williams revealed via his personal Twitter account that he underwent surgery on his right knee Oct. 24.

The Cardinals haven't offered specifics regarding the nature of Williams' surgery, but so long as the procedure didn't involve an ACL repair, he could have a shot at being cleared for the start of OTAs in late April. Whether Williams joins the Cardinals or another team for those workouts isn't yet known, as the 27-year-old tight end is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year. Before sustaining the knee injury Week 5, Williams had been productive in a starting role for Arizona, turning in a 16-193-1 receiving line on 17 targets.
