Quiet in win
Boyd secured one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 34-11 win over the Lions.
For the second straight week, Boyd finished behind both Ja'Marr Chase (six) and Tee Higgins (six) in targets. The Cincinnati passing attack has taken a big step forward in 2021, which has certainly been aided by the addition of Chase as the fifth-overall selection in this year's draft. Though Joe Burrow is airing it out, Boyd will have games like this when he takes a back seat to the young stars of the Bengals' receiving corps. The veteran wideout will have the opportunity for a bounce-back performance when the Bengals visit the Ravens in Week 7.
