Coach confirms timeline
Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Monday the reported four-to-six week timeline for Hunt (calf), Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
The coach said Hunt will miss more than three weeks and is "in that ballpark" of four to six weeks. With a game Thursday against Denver, the Browns are scrambling with a banged-up backfield. Nick Chubb (calf) was inactive Week 6 and started the short practice week as a DNP. D'Ernest Johnson and Demetric Felton ascended the depth chart during Sunday's game after Hunt was removed and are poised to fill in Thursday if necessary.
