Parris Campbell, WR (IND)

Foot injury serious

Coach Frank Reich said Monday that Campbell (foot) is dealing with a serious injury and will miss time, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Reich did not rule out Campbell's injury bringing his campaign to a close, saying "it's too soon to tell," per Erickson. It's a brutal turn of events for Campbell, who not only is coming off back-to-back impressive performances, but could now potentially be dealing with a season-ending injury for the third time in as many years. It looks like the 2019 second-round pick, who has only appeared in 14 games in his NFL career, is destined for a stint on IR at the very least. On a brighter note for Indianapolis, T.Y. Hilton (quadricep) has avoided a severe injury and is considered day-to-day.
