Taylor Heinicke, QB (WAS)

Struggles against KC

Heinicke completed 24 of 39 pass attempts for 182 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 31-13 loss to Kansas City.

Heinicke kept Washington in the game throughout the first half, completing 14 of his 25 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown. However, he and the offense stalled in the second half, and the end result was his lowest yardage total in a full game this season. After operating in a fairly efficient manner through three starts, Heinicke averaged only 4.7 yards per attempt in Sunday's game after picking up only 6.0 yards per attempt in Week 5. Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) reportedly has a chance to return in Week 7, which would almost certainly land Heinicke back on the bench.
