Dante Pettis, WR (NYG)

Boost in volume due to absences

Pettis brought in five of 11 targets for 48 yards in the Giants' 38-11 loss to the Rams on Sunday.

With Kenny Golladay (knee) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) both inactive and Kadarius Toney (ankle) eventually joining them on the sideline Sunday, Pettis was called upon for his most extensive action since his rookie 2018 season in San Francisco. Pettis wasn't exactly efficient with his targets, but considering Daniel Jones was under duress throughout the afternoon, the receiver's totals were serviceable. Despite the solid performance, Pettis could well be back on the practice squad within days and perhaps remain there if at least a couple of the team's sidelined wideouts are available for Week 7 against the Panthers.
