T.Y. Hilton, WR (IND)

Uncertain to play Week 6

Hilton (neck) took part in practice Thursday for the second day in a row, though he wasn't willing to declare himself ready to return from injured reserve ahead of this week's game against Houston, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports. "Just because I'm practicing doesn't mean I'm playing," Hilton said, adding that he's "got to get (his) legs back under (him), gotta pass some tests."

Though Hilton was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, the Colts merely held a walk-through session that day, which didn't afford media members a good opportunity to gauge how he looked coming off a late-August surgery to address a disc issue that was causing a loss of feeling on the left side of his neck. For his part, Hilton said he feels great and received assurances from medical experts that resuming his career won't present any long-term complications, but the Colts may still be inclined to ease him back into the mix after a six-week absence from practice. Even if he's activated prior to Sunday's game, Hilton may handle a lighter snap load than he normally would.
