Returns to practice
Washington (groin) returned to practice Wednesday as a limited participant, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Washington missed the Week 5 win over Denver, in which fellow Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a season-ending shoulder injury. That leaves Washington as the No. 3 behind Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool (hamstring), though it'll likely be the latter two taking most of Smith-Schuster's slot work while Washington replaces them on the perimeter. In any case, he'll first need to prove he's healthy enough to play, with two more practices on tap before Sunday's game against Seattle.
