Tua Tagovailoa, QB (MIA)

Making progress

Coach Brian Flores said Wednesday that Tagovailoa (ribs) will practice Wednesday and will "hopefully" play Sunday versus the Jaguars, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Tagovailoa has yet to be returned to the 53-man roster, but it looks like he's trending in the right direction to come off IR and get back on the field Week 6. Of course, the Dolphins will likely wait until the young quarterback has been evaluated at practice before making a decision. With DeVante Parker (shoulder) still absent from practice and Will Fuller (finger) sidelined, Tagovailoa could be without a number of key playmakers if he's indeed ready to retake the field. On the plus side, Jacksonville's defense has proven vulnerable and has allowed at least 23 points in each game this season.
