Keenan Allen, WR (LAC)

Another six catches in win

Allen caught six of his nine targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 47-42 win over the Browns.

Allen has at least six catches in all but one game this season, but the veteran stalwart did take a backseat Sunday to Mike Williams' career-high 16 targets. The bevvy of looks gave the aforementioned big-bodied wideout two 40-plus yard receptions, but Allen also got in on the action catching a critical 37-yard deep pass on the team's second-to-final possession of the game. While it's not a statistic that rewards points for fantasy managers, Allen was critical particularly on third down and fourth down, moving the chains on three separate occasions. That type of role almost guarantees a certain floor each and every week, but massive fantasy games might not be as easy with Williams emerging as a certifiable star.
