Limited by ankle injury
The Giants added Toney to their injury report Thursday, listing him as a limited participant in practice due to an ankle issue, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
The rookie receiver missed time in training camp with a hamstring injury, but he was cleared ahead of the season opener and has played in both of the Giants' first two games, logging 22 offensive snaps while recording two receptions for minus-2 yards. If Toney moves past the ankle injury ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons, he'll likely have only a small role on offense.
