Zach Pascal, WR (IND)

Returns to practice Thursday

Pascal (illness) was able to practice Thursday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Pascal missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness but his return Thursday suggests the slot receiver isn't in danger of sitting out a juicy Week 3 matchup with a Titans secondary that's been the most generous in the league to opposing receivers in the early going. The only damper on Pascal's outlook Sunday is the possible absence of starting quarterback Carson Wentz (ankle), whom Erickson said wasn't spotted at practice Thursday. Pascal was a full participant Thursday, while Wentz was a non-participant.

Michael Badgley

Will fill in against Houston

Badgley will be elevated from the practice squad Sunday against Houston to take the place of Rodrigo Blankenship (hip), JJ Stankevitz of the Colts' official site reports.

T.Y. Hilton

Uncertain to play Week 6

Hilton (neck) took part in practice Thursday for the second day in a row, though he wasn't willing to declare himself ready to return from injured reserve ahead of this week's game against Houston, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports. "Just because I'm practicing doesn't mean I'm playing," Hilton said, adding that he's "got to get (his) legs back under (him), gotta pass some tests."

Gets MRI, Week 6 status in question

Colts head coach Frank Reich said Blankenship (hip) underwent an MRI on Tuesday, leaving the kicker's status uncertain heading into a Week 6 matchup with the Texans, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports. "I'll get the results [of the MRI], and then we'll talk through with [general manager Chris Ballard] what we need to do, whether we need to bring in another kicker, how extensive is the injury."
