Russell Gage, WR (ATL)

Misses another practice

Gage (ankle) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice and is set to go down as a non-participant on the Falcons' official report, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Gage's ankle injury also kept him from practicing Wednesday, so he'll likely need to get on the field in some capacity Friday to avoid being ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants. If Gage ends up sitting out the Week 3 matchup, Tajae Sharpe could be the next man up to step in as Atlanta's top option out of the slot.
