Curtis Samuel, WR (WAS)

Spotted runing on side field

Samuel (groin) was running along the sideline during Wednesday's practice, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

It seems to be the first time reports have seen Samuel on a practice field since he was placed on injured reserve Sept. 10. He's ineligible through Week 3 and may miss additional time beyond that, but there's at least now a sign of progress, even if it's a far cry from actually participating in practice. Meanwhile, rookie third-round pick Dyami Brown has been quiet in the No. 2 receiver role, catching four of 10 targets for 32 yards on 90 percent snap share through two weeks.
