Diontae Johnson, WR (PIT)

Not practicing

Johnson (knee) didn't practice Wednesday.

Injured on the final play of last week's game, Johnson is "looking better, not to be confused with great,"... in the words of coach Mike Tomlin (per Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com). The wideout thus appears shaky for Sunday's game against the Bengals, with Thursday and Friday representing his two chances to return to the practice field. James Washington should step up as the No. 3 receiver if Johnson is ruled out this week, with the Steelers potentially using more multi-TE looks as well.

Remains limited at practice

Both Claypool (hamstring) and James Washington (groin) were listed as limited practice participants for the second day in a row Thursday, but Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette suggests that the team may simply be managing their reps in the wake of losing JuJu Smith-Schuster (shoulder) for the season.
