Antonio Brown, WR (TB)

Lands on COVID list

The Buccaneers placed Brown on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, and he'll now need to test negative for the virus 24 hours apart to be eligible for Sunday's game at Los Angeles, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Greg Auman of The Athletic suggests Brown is likely to miss Sunday's highly anticipated matchup between the Buccaneers and Rams. It's not official yet, but the mid-week timing of his entry into the COVID-19 protocol presents a challenge, as Brown was added to the list with about 100 hours to go before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. If Brown can't play, Scotty Miller likely will fill in as the No. 3 receiver, with Tyler Johnson and tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate also candidates to pick up some extra snaps off the bench. Brown caught five of seven targets for 121 yards and a touchdown in the season-opening win over Dallas, but in Week 2, he managed just one reception for 17 yards on three targets against the Falcons.
