Amari Cooper, WR (DAL)

Suffers bruised rib

Cooper sustained a bruised rib during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Chargers, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Cooper secured three of five targets for 24 yards before injuring his ribs late in Sunday's contest. Coach Mike McCarthy said "we'll see Wednesday" about an update on Cooper's health, possibly hinting that the wideout will undergo further medical evaluation. Cooper has an extra day to get healthy ahead of the Cowboys' Week 3 matchup against the Eagles on Monday Night Football, but for now his status looks uncertain. With Michael Gallup (calf) already guaranteed to miss Week 3, an absence by Cooper would leave CeeDee Lamb as Dak Prescott's unquestioned top target.
