Sam Darnold, QB (CAR)

Sharp in win over Saints

Darnold completed 26 of 38 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.

He also picked up seven rushing yards on his lone carry. Darnold's second game in a Panthers uniform went even better than his first, as he picked apart a New Orleans defense that just shut down Aaron Rodgers in its opener. Both Darnold's TDs came in the first two quarters, as he found Brandon Zylstra and DJ Moore on red-zone strikes and then didn't need to air things out after halftime. The former Jets quarterback is in good shape to make it three wins, and three productive games, in a row when Carolina heads to Houston for a Thursday night tilt in Week 3.
