Cameron Brate, TE (TB)

No targets over 18 snaps

Brate logged 18 snaps from scrimmage but did not see a target in the Buccaneers' 31-29 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night.

The veteran tight end was a source of some sneaky fantasy value at times in 2020 after O.J. Howard went down with a torn Achilles in Week 4, but with the latter now healthy and Rob Gronkowski seemingly back to prior form, there may be sparse opportunity for Brate to make an impact as a receiver in 2021. One confounding stat from Week 1 is that Howard actually logged 12 fewer offensive snaps from Brate, but it's a virtual certainty the former will eventually have a more consistent role in the air attack as the season unfolds.
